Sunday School

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not try to stop them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

He also said, "Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me."

We welcome children - and their parents - to encounter Jesus here every week.

127th Sunday School Anniversary

Happy Birthday

We are never too young to learn about godliness, salvation, righteousness and worship of God. We have much to teach our children and they can often teach us.

Jesus - the greatest of all teachers - taught us the importance of our children and that we should always find time for them.

The children reminded us in their own way about Jesus Christ; how He lived, what He taught and how He changed the lives of ordinary people.

We learned about the resurrection of Jesus Christ and how it is central to everything we believe.

"If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is futile and your faith is empty. Also, we are found to be false witnesses about God, because we have testified against God that he raised Christ from the dead, when in reality he did not raise him, if indeed the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is useless; you are still in your sins." (1Co 15:14-17)
